Commemorating the state's most distinguished writers, the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame features displays and photographs honoring such notables as O. Henry, Paul Green, Thomas Wolfe and James Boyd. Boyd's former residence in Southern Pines houses the hall. New inductees to the hall are selected annually, and their works and photographs are added to the collection.
